Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY
The Engineering Supervisor manages daily engineering department operations to ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership and advanced proficiency across multiple trades.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Engineering Supervision & Operations
    Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the engineering team, including Building Engineers I-IV.
    Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
    Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
    Manage departmental resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
    Coordinate and support regulatory and preventive maintenance inspections.
    Collaborate with healthcare department leaders and PDC partners to plan and execute facility improvements.
    Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and standards (e.g., NFPA, CMS, FGI, ASHRAE).
    Maintain compliance with PCRA, ICRA, and ILSM requirements, including documentation and implementation.
    Adjust work schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Staff Development & Compliance
    Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities for engineering staff.
    Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
  • Trade School Certification in one or more fields or military engineering experience. Equivalent education and/or experience is acceptable. Required

EXPERIENCE
  • , Minimum of 10 years of experience in building maintenance and engineering. Required
  • , Advanced proficiency in multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, or HVAC). Preferred
