Job Summary
Are you passionate about transportation? T.Y. Lin is looking for a Transportation/Traffic Engineering Intern to join our Chicago office for the Summer of 2026. As an intern on our City Solutions Team, you'll gain the opportunity to immerse yourself in diverse infrastructure projects focused on multimodal transportation plans that support communities and transformational real estate developments. Our work includes diverse, high-profile projects around the country for public and private sector clients, and we meet our clients' needs through an interdisciplinary approach to planning and engineering. Responsibilities & Qualifications
What You Will Do

  • Perform traffic, pedestrian, parking and safety analyses

  • Familiarity with traffic planning/analysis software (HCS, Synchro/Sim Traffic) and drafting software (AutoCAD, MicroStation) Preferred
