Position Summary

The Engineering Intern will support the engineering team with project work, process improvements, and daytoday operational support. This role provides handson exposure to manufacturing and engineering environments while developing practical skills in problemsolving, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with projects related to process improvement, equipment optimization, and documentation
  • Collect and analyze data to support engineering initiatives and operational decisions
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for equipment, processes, or quality issues
  • Update and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, and SOPs
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Operations, Quality, and Maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support site and team objectives

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related field)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction from multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
