Associate Programmer Analyst

Company:

Boeing Aerospace Operations

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currentlyseeking an Associate Programmer Analyst to join The Boeing C-17 Transport Tools and Technologies organization in Warner Robins, GA

This role assists C-17 technical publication group with system environmental testing and modification, programming and data analysis, engagement in workflow tickets between internal and external team members to better improve processes and products, problem solve and troubleshoot software and server items, and engage with vendor engineering to implement long-term solutions.

You will work with many different software and sever components to ensure the C-17 technical data teams have the necessary tools at-the-ready to execute requirements in order to produce and sustain multiple technical publication products in timely and repetitive manner.

This will require interfacing with teams across the country, knowledge in server and OS administration, programming skills, the ability to organize and prioritize workload, work with and lean on others to perform and excel.


Position Responsibilities:

  • 5 days a week onsite

  • Provides assistance to design, program and execute test plans

  • Implements, documents and maintains routine computing applications and software

  • Assists in gathering and evaluating end user requirements

  • Writes and compiles routine code and constructs routine database objects based on documented design

  • Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality

  • Documents, validates and researches reported problems and assists in developing user training

  • Expected to work across local and remote teams to be trained and accomplish tasks

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience of Computer Programming

  • 1+ years of experience creating scripts in Perl

  • 1+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, or C++

  • 1+ years of experience with Python

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge of S1000D Specification

  • Experience in Unity and/or Unreal engine

  • Working knowledge of GitLab

  • CompTIA Certification
