We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, hands-on machining knowledge, and the ability to work with engineering drawings and CAD models. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration with machining and engineering teams.
Pay: $25 an hour
Responsibilities:
  • Program CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for quality, efficiency, and cycle time
  • Utilize SolidWorks and CAD software to interpret and create part models and toolpaths
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues
  • Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality staff to ensure parts meet specifications
  • Maintain documentation for programs, revisions, and processes
  • Follow company safety practices and quality standards

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks and general CAD software
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes (milling and/or turning)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining materials
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:
  • Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)
  • Familiarity with multi-axis machining
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
