With a commitment to excellence and safety, we are seeking a highly skilled Engineer Technician to join our team and uphold the highest standards of quality assurance in all our operations.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled CMM Programmer to develop, maintain, and execute inspection programs that ensure aerospace products meet customer and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in supporting quality assurance, first article inspections, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, validate, and maintain CMM inspection programs for aerospace components using customer engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect complex machined parts.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, customer specifications, and inspection requirements.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
  • Analyze inspection results and communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing CMM programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gages, pin gages, depth gages, optical comparators, and inspection fixtures.
  • Verify supplier certifications and supporting documentation for compliance with engineering requirements.
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
  • Document inspection results and maintain quality records using Microsoft Office and company software systems.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and inspection processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of CMM programming experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience preferred.
  • Experience with CMM software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS, or equivalent.
  • Experience programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience performing AS9102 First Article Inspections preferred.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems preferred.
  • Experience with Zeiss, Mitutoyo, Brown & Sharpe, Hexagon, or similar CMM equipment preferred.
  • Experience supporting machining operations involving 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
