Job description

A confidential opportunity is available with a Texas law firm seeking a senior-level real estate associate to support complex commercial real estate transactions, with a strong focus on sophisticated borrower-developer work. This is a 100% transactional role designed for an attorney who wants consistent deal flow and meaningful responsibility.

THE ROLE


  • Draft, negotiate, and review key transaction documents for complex commercial real estate matters.
  • Support borrower-side financing transactions, including loan documentation review and negotiation.
  • Advise on deal structure, risk allocation, and closing mechanics across the transaction lifecycle.
  • Coordinate due diligence and manage transaction checklists and closing deliverables.
  • Work directly with senior attorneys and clients to drive deals to execution.


LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION


Location:

Dallas, Texas.


Schedule:

In office 4 days per week, with 1 remote day per week.


Compensation:

Base salary range $200,000 to $300,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications).


REQUIREMENTS


  • 7 to 8 years of post-graduate experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions.
  • Active Texas bar license in good standing.
  • Strong connection to Dallas (current residence or a compelling reason to relocate).
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Ability to manage complex deal documentation with strong drafting and issue-spotting skills.


PREFERRED BACKGROUND


  • Strong academic performance from a highly reputable law school.
  • Experience from a mid-sized or large firm handling comparable commercial real estate transactions.
