Job description

Position Summary:
Develop and document new applications and processes as well as provide support for existing systems across multiple business areas. Perform systems analyses and enhancements to existing systems.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Write code, debug, and test for accuracy
  • Perform discovery and analysis
  • Communicate with users to gain understanding of their business needs to design solutions
  • Create and maintain system and/or process documentation
  • Assist with application and systems implementation with Database Administrators, Quality Assurance, other Information Systems personnel, and end users
  • Provide organizational support
  • Ensure standardization

Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent business experience in related field
  • One year of experience with Oracle Forms or Oracle Apex
  • One year of PL/SQL experience is required
  • EDI X12 experience will be helpful
  • Working knowledge of relational database theory and operation
  • Working knowledge of API's, REST
  • JAVA and web development experience preferred
  • Will be required to learn to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot custom Oracle Forms, Apex, and PL/SQL scripts
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented, demanding, multi-priority environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communications with users at any level a must

Physical Demands:
This position is primarily sedentary. Applicants, with or without accommodations, must be able to sit for extended periods, as well as occasionally stand and walk. The role requires reaching, grasping, and possessing fine motor skills for typing. Additionally, candidates should be able to lift light objects, such as files, bend or stoop to access lower drawers, and have good near vision for computer work.

Work Environment:
  • This position is located in Charlotte, NC and the candidate must be willing to relocate, if not already in the Charlotte Metro area.
