Overview
Physical Therapist Assistant Program Director
The Program Director must assure achievement of the program's goals and outcomes, and is responsible for all aspects of the program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development and general effectiveness of the program. The Program Director must provide supervision, administration and coordination of the instructional staff in the academic and clinical phases of the educational program. The Program Director will be responsible for meeting all applicable accreditation commission standards and agency regulations as well as maintaining compliance with Concorde policies and procedures. Qualifications
Education
  • Must have a minimum of a master's degree
  • Hold a current license/certification to practice in the jurisdiction where the program is located
Experience
  • Must have a minimum of five years, full-time, post licensure experience that includes a minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience
  • Have didactic and/or clinical teaching experience
  • Have experience in administration/management
  • Experience in educational theory and methodology, instructional design, student evaluation and outcome assessment; including the equivalent of nine credits of coursework in educational foundations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
