I. Ministry Overview

The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non-profit ministry that is dedicated to “Educating and Cultivating Servants

for Christ”. We are a middle and senior high school committed to high academic standards. Our biblically-integrated,

college-preparatory curriculum is delivered by a dedicated staff of Christian professionals. We are committed to teaching

from a biblical worldview and philosophy. We are committed to providing our students with experiences that will foster

in them a servant’s heart, including extra-curricular activities, interscholastic athletics, music, theater, short-term mission

trips, and numerous service opportunities. CVCA aims to create a Christian school community characterized by

transforming relationships that produce a lived-out faith in the lives of our students, our faculty and our staff.

III. Job Summary


Provide support in coordinating student trips, ensuring a safe and educational experience that is compliant with school

policies and supports mission excellence.


IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating school trips, including but not limited to the start of school retreat week, mission trips, Jterms, etc.
  •  Communicate with Teachers, Administrators, and parents to understand trip timelines and requirements
  • Research and secure transportation, logging meals for staff and students
  •  Prepare and collect trip itineraries, permission forms
  • Provide assistant in trip budgets as needed
  • Assist in the planning and coordinating of the annual educator conference and professional development programming.
  • Oversee the execution of partnership agreement obligations through working with various departments.
  • Coordinate and oversee background checks
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or commensurate experience preferred 
  •  Experience in Trip Planning, Event Coordination or related field preferred
