About the Role:

The Refrigeration/Utilities Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of refrigeration and utility systems within the facility. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex refrigeration equipment to guarantee consistent performance and energy efficiency. The technician will also oversee the upkeep of utility systems such as HVAC, boilers, and compressed air systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. By proactively identifying potential issues and performing preventative maintenance, the technician helps minimize downtime and supports uninterrupted facility operations. Ultimately, this role contributes to maintaining a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all facility stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or technical training program in refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration and utility systems.
