Quality Engineering Analyst, Level 3, Onsite in Charlotte, NC

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineering Analyst, Level 3 (QE Analyst) to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions across web and mobile applications using modern quality engineering practices. This role combines manual and automated testing with strong analytical and technical skills to support end-to-end quality assurance across UI, API, mobile, and backend systems. The QE Analyst will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Business teams within an Agile environment to validate functionality, improve test coverage, support CI/CD quality processes, and drive continuous quality improvement throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This position is 100% Onsite in Charlotte, NC.

Quality Engineering Analyst Responsibilities:

- Perform manual functional, integration, regression, usability, and end-to-end testing for web, mobile, API, and backend applications.

- Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business and technical requirements.

- Validate application functionality, user workflows, business rules, and data accuracy across multiple platforms and environments.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for repetitive and regression testing activities.

- Support automation framework enhancements and reusable test component development for UI and API testing.

- Perform API and integration testing for RESTful services and microservices architectures.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Business teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects while supporting root cause analysis and issue resolution activities.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives.

- Support CI/CD testing activities and continuous testing initiatives.

- Validate backend systems and data integrity using SQL and database testing techniques.

- Maintain detailed documentation for test cases, test execution results, defects, automation scripts, and quality metrics.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of modern Quality Engineering best practices.

Quality Engineering Analyst Qualifications:

- Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering testing Web, Mobile applications and test automation experience.

- Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Appium.

- Experience with API automation tools such as Rest Assured, Playwright API Testing and Postman.

- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., Cursor IDE, LLM-based test generation, intelligent automation).
