Job description

Overview The Program Security Specialist (PSS) at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center provides support to Information Security, Industrial Security, SCI, and SAP programs This position requires an experienced security professional capable of operating independently in a highly classified environment. NOTE: This position is contigent upon award. Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite security support for Collateral Classified Information, Industrial Security, and SCI operations.
  • Serve as a key security liaison between AFRC, government security officials, and contractor FSOs.
  • Maintain and oversee classified holdings, accountability records, and secure communications.
  • Manage DD Form 254s and ensure contractor compliance with security requirements.
  • Support classified visits, inspections, audits, self-assessments, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with SCI access coordination, documentation, and compliance oversight.
  • Conduct security incident inquiries and reporting as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in program security, industrial security, SCI, or SAP environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of DODM 5205.07, NPR 1600.2B, and industrial security requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, multi-discipline security programs.
  • Experience working directly with Government security stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with security databases and tools (e.g., SIMS, JADE, SharePoint, DISS).
