A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
As an Assistant PM, you are the driving force behind our success. To our customers and employees, you are the face of our company and always make sure to represent the ambitious standards we strive to achieve as a company. You will work with directly with our customers by supporting operations, management, and crew. You will be responsible for the project management and coordination of functions directly and indirectly related to the delivery of services to the customer. The Assistant PM will be responsible for assisting with back-office documentation, project tracking, costing, reporting and analysis to ensure customer satisfaction, crew productivity and overall job profitability.
Assistant PM's are detail-orientated individuals that Support Managers, Superintendents, and other leadership roles. Some of the other duties include assisting with bid proposals, As-builts and managing schedules. Creating digital job folders & pulling maps for job sites. And pulling Daily reports from software programs and assisting with other job tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
  • 2+ years of direct or related experience in the Telecom/Utility industry
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Great customers service skills and can communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated understanding of construction or infrastructure project management concepts.

WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday from either 6:30 am-3 pm or 7 am - 3:30 pm. This position is onsite, at our JBLM office.
