Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of technology solutions supporting the startup of a large, complex manufacturing facility in Hopkinsville, KY. This role will drive execution across multiple enterprise applications and manufacturing technology workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
The successful candidate will serve as a key leader coordinating business, IT, engineering, operations, vendors, and system integrators to deliver critical manufacturing systems including MES, WMS, SAP, Blue Yonder, TrakSYS, and supporting plant-floor technologies.
Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT initiatives supporting a new manufacturing facility.
• Develop and manage integrated project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
• Drive accountability for project deliverables across internal teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Maintain project governance artifacts including RAID logs, action registers, and executive status reports.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate activities across manufacturing, engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and IT teams.
• Manage dependencies and resolve issues impacting project scope, schedule, or budget.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, decision reviews, and steering committee updates.
Vendor & System Integration Management
• Manage system integrators, technology vendors, and implementation partners.
• Monitor vendor performance, deliverables, and contractual commitments.
• Support SOW management, issue resolution, and acceptance of project deliverables.
Testing, Deployment & Operational Readiness
• Coordinate system testing activities including SIT, UAT, validation, and readiness assessments.
• Lead cutover planning, deployment execution, and hypercare support.
• Ensure operational readiness through training, SOP development, support model planning, and knowledge transfer.
Risk, Compliance & Financial Management
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, cybersecurity, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Track project financials, forecasts, and schedule performance against approved plans.
Top Skills:
• Proven experience with greenfield site implementations and/or plant shutdowns
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, WMS, shop floor technologies)
• Hands on experience with validation processes (UAT, IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in high pressure, time-sensitive environments
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., tobacco, pharma, CPG) strongly preferred
