  • Partner with business leaders early in project development to define scope, assumptions, timelines, resource requirements, and execution strategies that increase the likelihood of project success.

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, executive dashboards, and project status reports that provide clear visibility into project health, risks, and resource requirements.

  • Anticipate project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks while developing proactive mitigation strategies before execution begins.

  • Facilitate executive decision-making by clearly communicating project status, risks, alternatives, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Build strong partnerships across Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business functions to ensure coordinated execution of project objectives.

  • Create clarity in complex or ambiguous situations by structuring problems, aligning stakeholders, and establishing practical paths forward.

  • Proactively remove barriers to execution through effective coordination, ownership, issue resolution, and escalation management.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships through clear, concise, and decision-focused communication with project teams, leadership, and stakeholders.

Project Management Office (PMO) Leadership

  • Coach and mentor Project Managers to strengthen project management capabilities, consistency, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery processes, reporting, governance, and overall PMO maturity.

  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational execution, project visibility, resource planning, and delivery confidence across the business.

  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, portfolio reporting, and project governance.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) environments.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum and hybrid delivery approaches.

  • Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience applying structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience leading capital projects, operational transformation initiatives, technology transfers, or new product introductions.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Advanced proficiency using project and portfolio management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Planview, or similar platforms.
