Role: Technical Program/Project Manager
Positions Available: 1
Est. Duration: 12 Months
Location: Hybrid - Herndon, VA - must go to office in person 1-2 times per week or depending on business need
Est. Start date: 07/15/24
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate across multiple project teams to ensure smooth execution of projects, facilitating communication and collaboration between different functional areas.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively, while ensuring technical assets are optimally utilized and projects are well-supported.
  • Serve as the primary communication link between project teams and senior management, providing regular updates and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Proactively identify risks associated with the programs and projects, develop mitigation strategies, and manage the resolution of issues as they arise.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, helping to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging innovative solutions.
  • Ensure all projects comply with industry standards and company policies, particularly in areas like cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Regularly report on program status and progress towards goals, including tracking metrics and KPIs to evaluate performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Oversee quality control processes across projects to ensure deliverables meet the required standards and satisfy customer expectations.
  • Define and articulate program goals, aligning them with the strategic objectives of the organization to ensure they support long-term business success.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the program, seeking out opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related technical discipline; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and network projects.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels using metrics, data, and presentations.
  • Strong multi-tasking and analytical/troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent team player with a high degree of integrity and passion who can work effectively both within the team and cross-functionally.
  • Experience with Service NOW SPM, JIRA, MS SharePoint preferred
