Job description

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Program Manager to lead the launch and ongoing development of a new Day Habilitation program in Brooklyn. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys building programs, developing teams, and creating high-quality services from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the startup, development, and day-to-day operations of the Day Habilitation program and related supplemental services.
  • Recruit, supervise, and support program staff.
  • Develop and implement program systems, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and quality standards.
  • Build relationships with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor program performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to execute the organization's vision for the program.

Qualifications

  • Previous program management or supervisory experience required.
  • Experience in OPWDD services, Day Habilitation, or related human services programs preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community partners.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a growing and evolving environment.
