Job description

The IT Product Manager is responsible for leading the IT product team and facilitating cross functional teams to support product delivery and system operations using industry best practices, guiding solution design that aligns with the IT strategic roadmap, and delivering value to business stakeholders. The Product Manager owns the product life cycle for the IT product managing the resource allocation and backlog prioritization, and closely partnering with the Product Owner and business stakeholders providing insight, feedback, and strategic recommendations regarding product performance, quality, and utilization capability. Provides servant leadership to an agile team by educating and coaching team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiencies, delivering incremental customer value, and embracing continuous improvement. This position will be part of the Information Technology team.


  • Utilizes deep understanding of the business stakeholder's needs to develop new feature requests, schedules release timelines and manages sprints appropriately.
  • Partners with product owners to create products to address customer needs.
  • Oversees IT product throughout the entire product life cycle
  • Manages the backlog to align with product roadmap
  • Manages testing to detect and fix issues to make necessary improvements
  • Champions the product and advocates for the product team members
  • Allocates resources to appropriate sprint to achieve work packages
  • Manages the health and performance of the team and the product
  • Tracks and reports product performance
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand integration and resources across products
  • Performs marketplaces research, metrics, and analytics to evaluate product performance
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of diverse IT professionals and building cross-functional partnerships across the business.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 8 to 10 years Information Technology, program management, or relevant technical experience
  • 5+ years' work experience leading a team.
  • PMP and Agile/Scrum certifications preferred
  • Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Embrace a Servant Leadership mentality
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement, encourage collaboration and communicate effectively (written and verbal) across multiple levels in the organization.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing work demands and multiple initiatives at the same time.
