Job description

FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community!ย 

Position Summary:ย Provides operational oversight to the Hope Divisionโ€™s non-child welfare affiliated youth serving programs, now focused primarily on runaway and homeless youth.ย  Directly supports youth recipients and host homes.ย  Fosters collaborative working relationships throughout FSRI and across community partners and potential funders. Contributes to the vision and expansion of the Hope Divisionโ€™s youth serving continuum and assists with resource development.ย 

Qualifications:

  • The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelorโ€™s Degree or 3 to 5 years equivalent experience working with youth, foster care, or other low-income families in a social service, mental health, or juvenile justice environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication (i.e., written, verbal, and presentation) skills required.ย 
  • Possession of a valid driverโ€™s license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance required.ย 
  • Ability to work a hybrid, flexible schedule required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to take initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team preferred.ย 
  • FSRI values staff with bilingual language capacity and familiarity with the local community served.ย 
  • FSRI includes pay incentives for bilingual staff.
  • Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
  • Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.

Physical Requirements:ย This position requires residential and community visits. Employees in this position must have the ability to:

  • Travel to and from community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators
  • Occasional national travel required to attend annual funder meetings and conferences of interest.ย
