Job description

Cottage Health seeks a Foundation Administratorfor theirCH Advancement department responsible for providing senior level administrative support for Cottage Health's philanthropic fundraising programs. Supports the affiliated foundations, focused on foundation administration and coordination of major and annual giving programs, capital campaigns, and fundraising events. Supports foundation operations, and coordinates activities and communication with the affiliated foundation boards and campaign committees.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Education:

  • Required. Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS).Or a combination of education and relevant experience using the standard of 2 years of experience equals 1 year of education.
  • Preferred: Training/emphasis in non-profit management, communications, marketing, public relations, business, or equivalent.

Technical Requirements:

  • Required: Intermediate to advanced MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel skills; administrative support skills.
  • Preferred: The above plus skilled in Raisers Edge NXT or other business intelligence software.

Years of Related Work Experience:

  • Required: 3 years. Communications, administrative support, project management, or Board of Directors support experience, preferably in a fundraising organization.

Preferred: Experience working in non-profit healthcare.

*Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health’s annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined based upon specialty and may include bonus potential.
