Job Title: Project Manager - Senior

Location:  Hybrid - Cranston, RI (3 days onsite, 2 remote)
Duration: 2 Years plus chances of extension

Job Description:

Project leadership expertise, undertake complex professional assignments involving planning and policy, program development and implementation, data analysis, research, and stakeholder engagement related to improving the accessibility of rural health care services for individuals with disabilities of all types in Rhode Island.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a thorough understanding of the best practices for rural area community engagement and working consistently with individuals with lived experience in partnership roles.
    • Must have excellent organizational, writing, public speaking, presentation, facilitation, research, and interpersonal skills.  
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the key stakeholders in health system disability community, including state agencies, healthcare providers, community-based organizations, advocates, and others across systems of care and populations served. 
    • Must have knowledge of the factors that limit access to health services and adversely impact health outcomes of rural Rhode Islanders with disabilities or willingness to learn. 
  • Must have knowledge of the principles and practices of health program implementation, including policy and planning, program administration, research, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement.  
    • Must be highly organized and able to manage competing priorities. 

Education and Experience: 

  • Education: Such as may have been gained through the possession of a Masters degree from a program of recognized standing with specialization in a relevant field of Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Law, Health Policy, Public Policy, Human Services, Environmental Sociology, Social Work, a licensed health profession, or a closely related field; and  
  • Experience: Such as may have been gained through considerable employment in a professional position with responsibilities related to strong community engagement for health policy, disability policy, public health, public administration, program administration, or other relevant experience.  
  • Combination: Or any combination of education and experience that shall be substantially equivalent to the above.
