Federal experience is not required. Experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or through Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for this position, you must meet the qualification requirements outlined below: SPECIALIZEDEXPERIENCE: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower level within the payband or GS grade in the normal line of progression in the Federal service that demonstrates the required managerial skills and technical competence required to perform the job. To be qualified for this position your experience must include:

  • Experience planning, coordinating, and executing research projects, studies, and compliance analyses to evaluate program performance, identify operational issues, and develop recommendations that support business objectives.
  • Experience analyzing project data, operational processes, compliance activities, and business requirements to identify trends, evaluate impacts, and recommend process improvements.
  • Experience developing technical reports, executive briefings, recommendations, and other written products that document research findings, analysis, and proposed business solutions.
  • Experience evaluating business processes, operational controls, and workflow procedures to improve efficiency, strengthen program performance, and support successful implementation of organizational initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating research activities, studies, compliance initiatives, and project deliverables with internal and external stakeholders to achieve established program objectives.
  • Experience documenting project results, technical findings, recommendations, and supporting analyses to facilitate management decision-making and implementation of business improvements.
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical information, project findings, recommendations, and status updates to management and stakeholders through written reports, briefings, and oral presentations.
  • Experience applying Federal tax laws, regulations, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidance while conducting compliance analysis, evaluating business issues, and supporting research initiatives affecting Large Business and International programs.

  • TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT (TACA): By the closing date (or if this is an open continuous announcement, by the cut-off date) specified in this job announcement, current civilian employees must have completed at least 90 days of federal civilian service since their latest non-temporary appointment from a competitive referral certificate, known as time after competitive appointment.
