The Financial Analyst supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by tracking program financials, managing budgets, and aligning funding streams with DoD financial planning processes. This role supports the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and performs financial forecasting.

โ€ข The Financial Analyst is responsible for tracking program financials and managing budgets.
โ€ข The position requires supporting the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
โ€ข Analysts will perform financial forecasting and cost estimation.
โ€ข The role includes preparing funding justifications and expenditure tracking. Required Qualifications and Experience
The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or
โ€ข A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in financial management. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
โ€ข DoD budget execution and cost estimation.
โ€ข Financial reporting and forecasting.
โ€ข Defense financial management systems.
โ€ข Congressional budget justifications and funding reconciliation.
โ€ข Expenditure tracking and cost analysis. Required Skills and Competencies
โ€ข Expertise in DoD budget execution, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
โ€ข Working knowledge of defense financial management systems.
โ€ข Proficiency in the PPBE process and financial forecasting.
โ€ข Strong analytical and reporting skills.
โ€ข Ability to support funding justifications and expenditure tracking. Education
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
โ€ข Lean Six Certification (Preferred, Not Required)
โ€ข PMP Certification (Preferred, Not Required)
โ€ข Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) (Preferred, Not Required)
โ€ข CPA (Preferred, Not Required) Clearance Requirement
โ€ข No clearance required for off-site duty location, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance as specified by the program.
