Job Objective:ย 

The Finance Analyst is an established performer that will support financial analysis objectives by assisting in the administration of sound financial procedures and processes. This role will assist with the preparation of budgets, business plans, and financial evaluations by providing reports and data management and system support. ย 

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Monitor annual budget processes and related forecasting.ย 
  • Assist with analytical work performed within the business units ensuring accuracy and documentation in accordance with internal control, GAAP, and other agencies regulations. ย 
  • Stay up to date on the industry and economic changes and trends. ย 
  • Assist in the resolution of operational and tactical issues. ย 
  • Assist Information Systems with any requests and projects related to all financial systems. ย 
  • May monitor overhead expenses and help identify potential mismanagement of resources. ย ย 
  • Work with other global finance departments. ย 
  • May be responsible for lean initiatives.ย 
  • Monitor and answer questions regarding the department programs. ย 
  • Partners with other departments to assist in the creation and allocation of their budgets. ย 
  • Monitor, navigate, and evaluate multiple systems containing financial information. ย ย 
  • Performs other duties as needed. ย 

Required Experience and Education:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.ย 
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience. ย 
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred. ย 

Competencies:ย 

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards. ย 
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.ย 
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.ย 
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.ย 
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.ย 
  • Proficient in SAP.ย 
  • Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.ย
