About the Job

We are seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to join our finance team and gain hands-on experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis in a dynamic coworking space environment. You'll work on key projects like financial modeling, market research, and business strategy while contributing to impactful decision-making processes. This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates passionate about finance and business operations.

About the Placement

We have a scheduled ongoing placement immediately and an ongoing bi-weekly placement. We are screening candidates for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 to align with academic internship schedules. Your placement can be either full-time or part-time but must be a minimum of 520 hours to complete our program. We allow flexibility to avoid any conflicts with academic responsibilities. Please outline your ideal placement date or term and any constraints you may have.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Develop financial models to support forecasting and budgeting.
  • Track and monitor budget performance and financial projections.
  • Conduct market research, including evaluating industry trends and competitor benchmarks.
  • Support investment evaluations and assist in expansion opportunities.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
  • Provide insights for improving pricing strategies and financial operations.
  • Help with risk assessments and ensure financial compliance.

About You

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business/Entrepreneurship programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Interest in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and forecasting methods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred: Experience with Tableau and Power BI is a plus.

Duration and Compensation

This is a full-time & part-time, paid internship with flexibility for your placement options and starting dates. Location or academic constraints should not deter you from applying. The compensation will be $32-$35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

  4. Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
  5. Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session while learning more about NovaForge / AI Venture Lab, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, candidates are placed in their respective teams.
