Job Summary
RDSI is looking for a Program Manager. This individual will perform oversight, prioritization, financial planning and analysis, scheduling, and reporting for various Naval projects and programs. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong management focus and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, and energetic environment. Additionally, the candidate must be able to maintain high quality standards; project/task prioritization and schedule development. Excellent customer skills are a must.
Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
  • Interact with Management Team, engineers, technicians, project managers, Government, and US Navy personnel on a daily basis.
  • Facilitate meetings, create and maintain timelines/schedules, and keep resource sponsors and key personnel informed of progress, issues and programmatic impacts.
  • Work with engineers and technicians to develop solutions to technical and logistic problems.
  • Manage critical data required to execute each program.
  • Prepare financial standard reports and develop/update external financial reports.
  • Must be able/available to travel.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or management discipline with 3-10 years professional experience required.
  • Understanding of Government Contracts, terms, reporting requirements, and execution.
  • Experience with day-to-day operational requirements of a Government repair facility.
  • Familiar with ISO-9001:2015 compliant Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and project tracking abilities; experience of procurement and logistics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and develop productive working relationships with resources and dependent teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Microsoft Suite (Excel, Project, Power Point).
