Position summary: Responsible for developing, monitoring and maintaining client relationships that result in sustainable and profitable business; seeking, developing and securing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic business and tactical action plans and participating in related marketing and business activities for appropriate service line.

Essential functions and responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong and diverse business/industry network
  • Develop relationships with new/existing clients to discover project and program information
  • Conduct market research and gather information on potential markets, clients and projects
  • Develop, monitor and implement strategic business and action plans for potential markets, clients, and projects
  • Monitor client performance trends/issues utilizing CRM
  • Obtain feedback from clients to assess past JMT performance. Develop correction action plans, as necessary
  • Lead client presentations, pitches, and proposals to effectively position services and secure new business opportunities.
  • Participate in training and development of future firm leaders
  • Involved in Professional organizations, committees, and Officer positions
  • Develop and report on Metrics of Marketing success
Nonessential functions and responsibilities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of firm’s practice areas, clients and competition
  • Leadership, management or supervisory experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledgeable of the RFP structure and proposal process
  • Strong understanding of A/E industry terminology, business practices and delivery methods
Preferred Experience
  • Professional Registration and/or certifications in area of specialization
Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
