Now Hiring — Program & Partnership Development Intern (Porter’s Place)


Porter’s Place, a new community and cultural hub within the Ann Arbor Housing Commission, is seeking a Program & Partnership Development Intern to support the launch of our inaugural programming year. This role blends event and program support with community and university partnership development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Event & Program Support — Assist with planning, marketing, volunteer coordination, and onsite logistics
  • Partnership Development — Strengthen collaborations with U‑M departments, centers, and student organizations
  • Workshop Facilitation — Develop and lead a community‑aligned workshop connected to academic interests
  • Program Documentation — Contribute to resource guides, research, and evaluation

  • Open to undergraduate and master’s students
  • 8–10 hours/week, Sept 2026–Apr 2027
  • Hybrid work; required events include the Oct 11 Grand Opening and monthly board meetings
