About Ladders for Leaders

Commonpoint is home to a number of youth workforce programs, including the nationally recognized program Ladders for Leaders. Ladders for Leaders offers high school and college students the opportunity to participate in paid professional summer internships with leading corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies in New York City.

Program Timeline

Cohort A: July 6 - August 15

Cohort B: July 13 - August 21

Compensation and Payroll

Interns will work up to 25 hours per week at a rate of $17 per hour. All placements are subsidized by Ladders for Leaders, which also manages payroll throughout the 6-week internship period.

Commonpoint will also oversee the onboarding process and collaborate with the host site to ensure all requirements are met. All selected candidates must comply with Commonpoint's onboarding procedures, as well as the policies, protocols, and expectations of the host worksite in order to remain in good standing.
