As a Program Cost Control Analyst - Level 2 your role at Redondo Beach, CA will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This Program Control Analyst duties could include; support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration; support preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC; perform and/or assist in financial performance analyses and visibility reporting; assist in the preparation and submittal of monthly CDRLs such as IPMDAR; support variance analysis reports; facilitate and support program monthly rhythm process, incorporate baseline changes into EVM system while utilizing Cobra, SAP, and Business Warehouse (BW).

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

This position requires the ability to work on site daily in Redondo Beach, California.

In this job, you will:

  • Perform as the System Administrator on a large Level 1 earned value program
  • Act as the primary integration liaison between Cost Management, Scheduling, Earned Value, and enterprise tool development teams, coordinating cross-functional resolution of system issues and ensuring alignment of data reporting processes across program control systems.
  • Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
  • Support audits and reviews requested by customers and company management
  • Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • No clearance required to start
  • Experience with financial analysis or reporting
  • Experience with MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Defense industry experience
  • Program Cost Control experience
  • Experience with Power BI Dashboard Data Analytics and Reporting
  • Strong PC skills - specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting)
  • Experienced in data analytics, enterprise tool administration, and cross-system integration across COBRA EVMS, SAP S/4 HANA, Power BI, and program reporting platforms
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • Experience with Cobra or SAP S/4 Hana

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
