Job description

Location: YMCA of the Suncoast Hernando County Branch

Rate of pay: $17.00/hr - $17.10/hr

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Branch Executive Director, the Youth and Family Programs Coordinator will oversee and manage youth and family enrichment programs at the Hernando County Family YMCA.

Additional Job Duties
  1. Market, organize, staff, and manage youth programs at the Hernando County branch including but not limited to homeschool, preschool, Parent's Night Out, enrichment, and camps.
  2. Oversee staff and operations of our Kids Zone area as well as The Zone.
  3. Personally develop and cultivate relationships with members and volunteers, as well as in the community to increase awareness of programs.
  4. Mentor and support staff and volunteers in all aspects of youth programs.
  5. Provide support during the annual campaign.
Success Measures (Year 1*)

Particular focus is on marketing, building relationships, and growing the programs.

  • -Increase number of participants in youth programs by 10%.
