Job description


As a Program Controls Specialist II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will manage scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You'll build a strong team, drive retention, and foster an inclusive culture.
You will report directly to our Sr Program Controls Manager and you'll work out of our Woburn, MA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
You will partner with the Integrated program team to develop program plans, create cost and schedule baselines for large complex programs across multiple sites. You will recommend improvement actions for process and tool implementation and will interact with global program management Team, Business leaders and customers. You will coach and mentor Program Specialists with less experience to improve their skills and capabilities.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for program launch and execution
  • Development of initial program baselines
  • Prepare and analyze internal cost report data
  • EAC (estimate at completion) management on assigned programs
  • Compliant to baseline change management processes
  • Ensures cost and schedule integration
  • Proactively and effectively communicates with integrated program teams
  • Apply EVM (earned value management) knowledge and procedures to programs
  • Effective data analytics using Program Management processes
  • Ability to work independently and part of large and diverse team
  • Supports organizational feedback for utilized tools and process efficiencies
  • Participates in organizational initiatives
  • Assist with guiding new Specialists and team members

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • 2-7 years of experience in low volume, high mix fast-paced manufacturing environment

WE VALUE
  • Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Experience in Aerospace and defense in manufacturing
  • Experience as Program Controls Specialist
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • User experience of SAP system
  • Experience in financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management
  • Experience in usage of Earned Value metrics, managing budgets and milestone fidelity.
  • Project Management certification
  • Cost Reporting Experience: CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR
  • Integrated Master Schedule experience: Microsoft Project, SSI Tool
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
