Job description

Essential Duties/Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to):

 



  • While working to achieve N3B LLCC objectives, will ensure all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner; will maintain required safety, security and operational training; assure procedural and regulatory compliance; and make safety, security and quality an integral part of every task; including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security.



  • Assist the Business Services Program Manager in the leadership and management of the Business Services Organization to meet all Human Resources, Information Technology, Controller, Acquisition Management, Records Management, Facilities, and prime contract requirements for N3B.



 

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Based on the overall leadership of the Business Services Program Manager, assist in establishing overall program direction for the Business Services functions.  Maintain visible commitment to achieve excellence in safety, health, environmental, and quality assurance practices.

  • Act as designated for the Business Services Program Manager when necessary due to absence as well as on assigned teams as required by the Business Services Program Manager.

  • Strong financial background demonstrated by extensive management progression over a variety of ever increasing responsible roles of a financial/accounting nature.

  • Provide leadership for the implementation of compliant policies and procedures for functional program activities in the areas of: Human Resources, Information Technology, Controller, Acquisition Management, Records Management, Facilities, and prime contract requirements

  • Provide leadership and direction from the Business Services Program Manager to ensure proper administration of DOE prime contracts and financial assistance instruments; formulation and execution of administrative, operating, and capital budgets; and the development and implementation of a comprehensive information management program. Provide leadership for the compliant management of procurement and property management activities.

  • Provide leadership for the continuous improvement of N3B and N3B Business Services operations.


Education and Experience Required:

 

Bachelors' degree in appropriate discipline; however, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.  

 

The career level of the position will be determined by the years of relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; after a candidate has been chosen.

  

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (Light Work):

 

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

 

This position works in an office, and the noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, i.e. copier toner.

 

Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
