Zantech is looking for a talented Quality Control Manager to contribute to the success of our upcoming Information Technology Support Services projectfor a Remote role, with a 5% to 20% Travel requirement.
The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for Quality Control Plan development, implementation, and maintenance, QCM key personnel requirements, Quality assurance and contract performance reporting, and will be authorized to act on behalf of the Contractor for all QC matters.
Summary:
The Quality Control Manager (QCM) serves as the central contractor quality control point of contact for the Government. The QCM develops, implements, and maintains the Quality Control Plan (QCP), identifies performance deficiencies, initiates Corrective Action Reports (CARs), and ensures contractor performance meets all PWS standards. QCM duties are the priority when conflicts with collateral duties arise.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the contractor Quality Control Plan (QCP)
  • Identify performance deficiencies and initiate Corrective Action Reports (CARs - Levels I-IV)
  • Conduct inspections and audits of contract performance
  • Serve as quality control liaison between contractor and Government COR
  • Develop key control procedures included in the QCP
  • Ensure all contractor personnel comply with PWS standards and applicable regulations
  • Submit quality control updates in monthly Contract Performance Reports

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:
  • Minimum 3 years of documented quality control management experience.
  • Ability to operate independently and make timely decisions to manage an effective Quality Control Program
  • Ability to analyze organizational/operational problems and develop timely, economical solutions
  • Highly skilled in verbal and written communications; ability to conduct professional meetings, execute plans, and write memorandums of instruction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; working computer knowledge and Internet navigation

Required Education:
  • No specific degree requirement.
  • Qualifications are experience-based
    • minimum 3 years QC management experience
  • Preferred Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, Information Technology, or related field

Required Certifications:
  • DoD Cyber Awareness Training (required prior to network access and annually thereafter; IAW DoDD 8140.01/DoDM 8140.03/AR 25-2)
  • AT Level I Awareness Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
  • iWATCH Army Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
  • ATCTS (Army Training Certification Tracking System) registration required
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent quality management certification
    • ISO 9001 or similar quality management system training/certification

Required Security Clearance:
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher clearance, per contract requirements.

Other Requirements:
  • Required training includes DoD Cyber Awareness, AT Level I, iWATCH, and ATCTS registration.
  • Travel requirements vary (5-25%) annually
