If you have a heart for helping children in foster care and a passion for meaningful, hands-on work, wed love to meet you. Bloom is seeking a full-time Program Associate with strong attention to detail and a desire to make every interaction count.

In this role, youll help organize and prepare high-quality clothing and essentials, engage with volunteers and partners, support mobile outreach efforts, and ensure children receive items with care and dignity. Join a dedicated team driven by purpose and compassion as we serve Georgias most vulnerable children.


JOB TITLE:Program Associate

REPORTS TO: Director of Operations, The Bloom Closet


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be passionate about helping children, specifically children in foster care in the state of Georgia.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills and enthusiasm for neatness.
  • Strong work ethic, energetic, and reliable.
  • Must be able to pass a variety of background checks, including but not limited to a criminal background check and child abuse registry check.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and work on feet throughout the day.
  • Ability to drive Bloom Box Truck for pick-ups and deliveries.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Engage with volunteers and donors in a friendly manner
  • Answer donation collection door and educate donors on Bloom programs as needed
  • Assist with receiving and sorting donations
  • Assist in hanging and restocking new and donated items in the Closet
  • Assist in loading and unloading of Bloom vehicles with stock merchandise
  • Work in the Bloom Closet (store) and provide excellent customer service
  • Work in the warehouse to process inventory as needed


GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:This is a part-time position requiring flexibility of schedule. Some weekends are required.
