Under general supervision, the Personal Care Aide is responsible for individual or multiple client personal care in the home or facility setting.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of personal care giving, companion, homemaking, residential cleaning and / or laundry services experience preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Must have successfully completed a state approved 40-hour personal care aide training program (PCA) or has successfully completed a state approved Certified Nurse Aide program and is awaiting licensure.
  • Must have current PCA training certificate or a certificate of successful completion from a state approved Certified Nurse Aide program on file.
  • Must have a valid CPR / First Aid card.
