Job description

Ultimate Therapy at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Summit Park is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide hands-on, resident-centered occupational therapy at a leading skilled nursing facility.

Your Daily Impact:

  • Carry out personalized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists, guiding residents in rebuilding skills for self-care, dressing, grooming, eating, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Lead practical, engaging sessions using adaptive equipment, fine motor exercises, cognitive strategies, and compensatory techniques to enhance function, safety, and confidence.
  • Track and document resident progress, report observations to the supervising OT, educate residents and families on techniques and tools for home success, and adapt activities to meet individual needs; all while fostering positive, empowering relationships.
