Overview
The Structured/Specialty Finance Senior Collateral Analyst supports portfolio performance by monitoring loans where repayment relies primarily on asset-based cash flows. In this role, you will assist with assessing collateral, tracking covenant compliance, managing borrowing bases, processing funding transactions, and verifying monthly cash flow waterfalls to ensure accuracy. This is a client-facing position that involves servicing client requests and escalating loan or banking issues as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate Borrowing Base Certificates to determine funding availability in accordance with loan documentation, eligibility requirements, and concentration limits
  • Process advances and principal paydowns on credit facilities
  • Prepare, review, and settle monthly distributions for interest, fees, third parties, and facility deficits
  • Review custodian certifications to confirm pledged receivables reconcile to borrowing base reports
  • Manage transfers from EWB-controlled accounts in accordance with Deposit Account Control Agreements
  • Coordinate settlement of legal fees, collateral exam fees, and other credit-related expenses
  • Maintain reporting and notification processes for syndicated lenders where EWB acts as lead agent
  • Track receipt and aging of required monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Upload received financial reporting and BBCs to shared drives and bank's imaging systems and update tickler controls
  • Review and process external audit confirmations
  • Maintain trend tracking and key performance metrics
  • Create and distribute monthly interest and fee settlement calculations in accordance with loan documents
  • Investigate customer collection, lockbox, and account activity inquiries
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members and provide back-up coverage for team members
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as assigned
  • May perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Collateral Analysis, Credit Supervision, or Asset-Based / Structured Finance Lending
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $43.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
