About the Role
Our Industry Experts Program connects Applaudo with decision-makers through warm, trusted introductions. As a Sports Industry Expert, you leverage your relationships across professional sports organizations, leagues, venues, and sports technology companies to open doors for Applaudo. You earn a commission on every deal closed from your introductions.

This is a fully remote, independent contractor partnership, not a salaried position.
Responsibilities:

  • Identify and introduce qualified contacts from your sports industry network who could benefit from Applaudo's digital transformation services.
  • Provide warm introductions to key decision-makers (VP level and above) at sports franchises, leagues, venues, media rights holders, and sports tech companies.
  • Collaborate with Applaudo's sales team on target profiles and introduction strategy.
  • Participate in periodic check-ins and activation campaigns.
  • Share sports industry context and trends that help our team tailor their approach.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in leadership, advisory, or consulting roles within the sports industry.
  • C-level, VP, Director, or senior consultant profile.
  • Active network of decision-makers across professional sports organizations, collegiate athletics, sports media, or sports technology.
  • Strong reputation and credibility within the sports ecosystem.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Englishย (mandatory).
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset.
