Job description

Southern Jamm Security is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused Live Sports Security Officers to join our growing team in the Florence, Alabama area.

Officers will work live sporting events and special events, providing security, customer service, crowd management, access control, parking operations, and guest assistance. Opportunities may include collegiate football, basketball, baseball, and other athletic events throughout the year.

This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible part-time work, supplemental income, and the opportunity to be part of exciting live sporting events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for guests, athletes, staff, and event personnel
  • Monitor assigned areas for safety concerns and policy violations
  • Staff entry gates, access points, and credential checkpoints
  • Assist with crowd management and guest services
  • Work parking lots, traffic control points, and pedestrian crossings
  • Verify credentials and control access to restricted areas
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, disturbances, or safety hazards
  • Respond professionally to incidents and assist supervisors as needed
  • Complete reports and documentation when required
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Reliable transportation required
