Summary
The Client Platform Engineering team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to work on new feature automation with a large focus on Cloud migrations, as well as Cloud first development and deployment. This individual will be working with the existing Test and Development team to execute test passes for new and existing feature integrations, and drive singing off on and supporting Lifting and Shifting services to the Cloud.If you are passionate about building great software that supports millions of users in the Cloud, and have the depth of technical experience to design, test, and deliver world class services, then this position might be perfect for you.
Responsibilities
  • Testing multiple internal distributed services at scale which support many games
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and Automation in Java
  • Lift and Shift to Google cloud from On Premises systems
  • Working with existing and creating new CI / CD deployment systems
  • Working on a highly technical team with a fast velocity
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features
  • Estimate, prioritize, and plan through Agile methodologies through team Sprints
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of coding experience in Java (preferred) or other OOP language
  • 4+ years of professional engineering testing experience including test automation
  • 1+ year cloud experience, optimally in Google Cloud technologies / methodologies
  • CI / CD experience with Automation stages
  • Load / Stress testing experience
  • Containerization and scaling of Java services, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience working on a development team that practices Agile/scrum methodologies
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience:
  • Strong cloud experience is a huge plus
  • Strong architecture, analytical and design skills
