Shuttle Operations Lead (Part-time)
Department: Parking
Direct Supervisor: Route Supervisor
Status: Part-time / Hourly, Seasonal
Summary:
The Parking and Transportation team is looking for dedicated individuals to manage shuttle operations for all Hard Rock Stadium events including Miami Dolphins games, University of Miami Hurricanes games, the Miami Open, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, soccer, concerts, and other world class events. The shuttle operations leaders will be responsible for on-the-ground operations for all Park & Ride Routes on event days.
Location:
  • This is a part-time/hourly position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. This position pays $25 an hour.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain knowledge of all queues and shuttle loading procedures.
  • Manage offsite ingress and onsite egress shuttle operations.
  • Control flow and counting of guests and accurately distribute amongst shuttle line queues.
  • Maintain a consistent distribution for each loading zone based on shuttle quantity.
  • Confirm loading quantity based on bus capacity.
  • Assist in guest inquires and resolution on post.
  • Manage a team of bus loaders and way finders.
  • Delegate position locations within assigned bus system and ensure all positions are filled.
  • Responsible for staff check-in and distribution of equipment.
  • Ensure head rest covers are properly positioned on each bus seat.
  • Initiate bus decommissioning (gather GPS, signage, and headrest covers) with direction from Route Supervisors
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with all guests and partners.
  • Ensure and maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Customer service and event operations experience (entry level or supervisory) preferred but not required.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, challenges, and adapt as needed.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish beneficial.
  • Ability to commit to 80% of all Hard Rock stadium events including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for 6+ hours and be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
