And you'll do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.

Team and Position details:

People Strategy & Analytics is an emerging field where Capital One is on the leading front. Our team pairs data and analytics with enterprise-wide projects to help Capital One transform its workforce for the AI revolution. We work closely with HR partners and senior executives to shape talent strategy, translate insights into action, and build the tools, playbooks, and forums that help leaders across the company make better talent decisions as AI continues to transform how we work.

You will lead a team of analysts and apply your strategic and analytical skills to solve open-ended, complex questions about how we attract, develop, and retain top talent in a rapidly changing environment. • People analytics: Build analyses, models, and tools across attrition, retention, internal mobility, and sentiment that turn people data into executive-level talent decisions.

  • End-to-end ownership: Independently own complex, open-ended workforce problems by framing the problem, driving the analysis, and delivering recommendations that inform executive-level talent decisions.

  • Baseline AI fluency: Leverage enterprise AI tools to accelerate analysis, delivery, and program execution

  • Cross-enterprise partnership: Build enduring and productive relationships across HR and the lines of business to sequence and deliver multiple priorities

  • People leadership: Manage and develop a team of analysts; coach and mentor associates across the organization to develop and retain top talent at Capital One

  • Strategic and analytic orientation: Bring proven problem-solving and decision-making grounded in analytics, pairing conceptual thinking with a strong quantitative orientation.

  • Executive communication: Communicate with impeccable written and oral skills and strategic influence, driving agreement through intellect, storytelling with data, and negotiation.

  • Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity: Be tenacious in driving decisions, and bring a healthy, aggressive yet responsible approach to solving complex, ambiguous problems

  • Clear results orientation: Demonstrate an intense focus on achieving short- and long-term goals, and the ability to drive an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment. Track record of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment; previous consulting experience is a plus
