Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager based in Netherlands.

This is a high-impact product leadership opportunity focused on owning and scaling a core product area within a fast-growing technology environment. You will shape product strategy and roadmap while improving experiences for both applicants and business users. The role combines customer discovery, product design, data-driven decision-making, and technical collaboration. You will work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and external partners to deliver measurable business outcomes. Success requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on reducing friction, increasing automation, and improving trust throughout the customer journey. This is an opportunity for an experienced product leader to solve complex problems and influence a product with significant market impact.

Accountabilities
  • Own the product strategy, vision, roadmap, and prioritization for a core product area, spanning customer experiences, backend capabilities, and go-to-market considerations.
  • Improve applicant- and business-facing workflows by reducing friction, simplifying experiences, and using automation to minimize unnecessary manual processes.
  • Translate customer needs, business priorities, data, and market insights into clear product opportunities, requirements, and actionable solutions.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Data Science teams to define solutions, evaluate technical trade-offs, address edge cases, and deliver high-quality product experiences.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, property management stakeholders, and external partners to ensure strong cross-functional alignment and successful product adoption.
  • Establish and monitor meaningful product metrics, taking ownership of outcomes and using data to guide prioritization, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Operate with a strong commercial and P&L mindset, connecting product decisions to customer value, growth, efficiency, and broader business objectives.
  • Lead product development from discovery and strategy through execution, launch, measurement, and iteration.
  • Use AI-powered tools and modern product development workflows to accelerate research, specification writing, prototyping, experimentation, and delivery.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of professional product management experience, with a demonstrated track record of launching and scaling products that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Experience working on applicant-facing, consumer-facing, self-service, or customer-facing products, ideally within verification, fintech, identity, income, employment, rental data, or similarly complex domains.
  • Strong product strategy and design judgment, with experience creating intuitive and low-friction user experiences.
  • Data-driven and customer-centric approach, with the ability to transform ambiguous problems into clearly defined product opportunities and practical solutions.
  • Strong technical fluency and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and data science teams without needing to be a hands-on developer.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex priorities, make informed trade-offs, and take ownership of product outcomes rather than simply delivering features.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align and motivate cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong curiosity, initiative, accountability, and commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
  • Collaborative and respectful working style, with a positive approach to working with customers and colleagues.
  • Experience using AI-assisted product development tools, such as Claude or comparable solutions, to accelerate research, prototyping, documentation, and delivery is highly valued.
Benefits
  • Annual base salary of $195,000-$205,000, plus bonus.
  • Remote-first working environment with the flexibility to work from anywhere, subject to applicable employment requirements.
  • Opportunity to own a high-visibility product area and directly influence product strategy, customer experience, and business growth.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams spanning Product, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and external partners.
  • Opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial, customer-focused environment where ownership, curiosity, accountability, and innovation are valued.
  • Meaningful opportunity to solve complex problems and contribute to products designed to improve trust, security, and user experiences.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to equal employment opportunities and diverse perspectives.
