Job description

Job Title Electrical Product Engineer Overview We are seeking an Electrical Product Engineer to support product quality, ongoing product development, and issue resolution within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve electrical system performance, resolve quality concerns, and support production activities. Key Responsibilities Support ongoing product development and quality improvement initiatives for electrical and electronic systems. Analyze and resolve product quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies. Track warranty-related issues and drive resolution activities. Identify opportunities for quality improvements and implement corrective actions. Evaluate field issues and recommend improvements to internal measurement and containment processes. Collaborate with product development, supplier, and production teams to resolve internal and external quality concerns. Support launch activities, including part sign-off, issue resolution, and electrical testing. Assist with production trials and troubleshooting of production units. Contribute to achieving overall product quality objectives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Engineer or Quality Engineer in an electrical or software environment. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma tools, 8D, 5 Whys, or similar approaches. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field. 3+ years of experience as a Product Engineer or Quality Engineer in an electrical or software environment. Automotive industry experience. Six Sigma training. Experience using Jira. Experience with vehicle OBD systems and CAN networking. Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
