Job Summary:
Jenkins Collision Center of Ocala is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Painter Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our Auto Painters in preparing and painting vehicles to our high standards of quality. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry, located in Ocala, Florida. Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Assist Auto Painters in all aspects of vehicle painting process, including sanding, priming, and final coating
Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, masking, and taping off areas that do not require paint
Mix and match paint colors according to specifications
Apply paint to vehicles using various techniques, such as sprayers, brushes, and rollers
Assure that painted vehicles are of high quality and free of imperfections
Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Assist with other duties as needed by the team
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in auto painting is a plus, but not required
Familiarity with painting tools and equipment
Ability to mix and match paint colors
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced team members
Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
