Wage / Hours:
This position is a full-time, hourly, and non-exempt position. Our business hours are 7am-6pm. OPTION FOR 4/10 SCHEDULE AVAILABLE AT REQUEST!! Our field technicians' schedules vary based on workload and on call rotation (service tech only). Working hours may exceed 8 hours a day and exceed 40 hours per week. Wage depending on experience, licensing.
Location:
This position is performed on the road in the greater Seattle area. Our service range is: North: Everett Area, South: Federal Way Area, East: North Bend. We have two shops in Everett and Tukwila.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
• Gather information and data about equipment being serviced. Diagnose system failures and issues, educate customer on findings, and offer recommendations for solutions.
• Navigate tablet software to understand previous history of customer and their equipment.
• Engage in client discussions professionally and politely to uncover their needs and works with their team leaders to address issues if beyond their knowledge base.
Job Requirements / Skills:
• Confident and professional communication skills via phone and face to face interaction with homeowners.
• Experience with and able to navigate mobile devices (Apple products) with the ability to learn new software.
• Attention to detail when debriefing office or homeowner about your findings in the field.
• Service oriented and ability to interact with all customer service scenarios (positive and negative). Ability to empathize and work through challenging problem-solving situations.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC experience required for Service Technician, with additional training provided. Maintenance Technician does not require any HVAC experience.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be on your feet / knees for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time.
-Must be able to work on ladders and drive a company vehicle.
