On a team with other helpers, movers help prepare, load, and unload items, and some also drive the moving truck. Movers work a physically demanding job that requires heavy lifting, and they sometimes work on nights and weekends to meet customers’ requests.

  • Physical ability – lifting, loading, and unloading heavy boxes and items like furniture and pianos require a lot of physical strength and endurance
