Job Description
Mathnasium is a math-only learning center for students in grades K - 12. Our students receive customized learning plans, proprietary teaching materials, and one-on-one instruction. Join us for the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life by passing on your love for math!
We are seeking part-time math tutors for Mathnasium Learning Center in Braselton, GA. The preferred candidate will have both high academic achievement and a desire to work with students in grades K - 12 on a variety of mathematics topics. We provide paid training, ongoing professional development, and flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
  • Exceptional math skills through Algebra I and Geometry
  • Desire to teach and motivate young learners
  • Energetic and confident personality
  • Ability to communicate with professionalism to students and their parents
  • Strong computer skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Commitment to tutor at Mathnasium of Braselton for a minimum of one calendar year

Our learning center environment is supportive and encouraging. Applicants should love teaching and be able to motivate students to success. Instructors must pass a background check and math literacy test.
Schedule
  • Instructors must be able to work from 3:30pm - 7:30pm at least two days each week during the school year.
  • Weekly schedules are flexible based on your needs.
  • Instructors may work between 6 and 12 hours each week, based on your preferences.

Pay
  • Instructor pay range is from $12 to $16 per hour, commensurate with tutoring experience and math expertise.
  • Pay increases are available through achievement of instructor development milestones.

Compensation: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
