Role Description This full-time, on-site Luxury Sales Professional role is based at the Martin Binder Jeweler retail store in Valparaiso, IN. The Luxury Sales Professional will welcome and engage clients, actively listen to their needs, and guide them through the selection of fine jewelry and timepieces, providing tailored recommendations for special occasions and milestones. Daily responsibilities include presenting merchandise, explaining product features and craftsmanship, processing sales transactions, and maintaining accurate records in the point-of-sale system. The role involves building and nurturing long-term client relationships through follow-up, clienteling, and exceptional service, as well as assisting with merchandising, inventory checks, and store presentation. The Luxury Sales Professional will collaborate with team members to meet sales goals, support events and trunk shows, and uphold Martin Binder’s standards for integrity, product knowledge, and client care.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated luxury or specialty retail sales experience, with strong client-facing skills and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with a diverse clientele.
  • Strong product knowledge aptitude or interest in fine jewelry, diamonds, gems, and Swiss timepieces, including willingness to learn about responsible sourcing and industry trends.
